Wentworth Halton X-Ray & Ultrasound is the region’s largest and most comprehensive provider of out-patient diagnostic imaging. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about serving the needs of patients and their referring physicians in our communities. Join our team of over 25 radiologists affiliated with Hamilton Health Sciences and more than 180 dedicated health professionals and support staff who are committed to providing exceptional care. WHXR clinics are located in Hamilton,Stoney Creek, Waterdown, Burlington and Oakville. Multiple openings are currently available at our Hamilton and Halton locations. Qualifications and Skills: Graduate of an accredited training program in Ultrasonography Current member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) Professional designation of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS) Current Sonography Canada member with Professional liability insurance Must have the knowledge, skills and judgment as identified in the CMRITO "Essential Competencies" to perform the services and procedures that fall within the scope of practice of the profession Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach Proven ability to organize work, set priorities, and manage time effectively, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in both independent and team-based settings Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast paced clinical environment Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism in all aspects of diagnostic imaging Full-time hours: 30 to 40 hours per week Part-time hours: 15 to 22.5 hours per week Casual Relief Minimum: 15 hours per month

Exigences

Must be a graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography program and a member in good standing with CMRITO and Sonography Canada. Requires a DMS professional designation and adherence to CMRITO essential competencies.
