Step into the boots of Santa Claus and help create unforgettable holiday memories for children and families at West Edmonton Mall! As Santa, you'll spread joy, laughter, and the magic of the season by greeting guests, listening to holiday wishes, and creating heartwarming moments that will be cherished for years to come. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: As our Santa Claus Performer, you will: Portray Santa Claus in an authentic, warm, and engaging manner. Greet and interact with children and families, listening to holiday wishes and spreading cheer. Pose for professional photos while maintaining character throughout each interaction. Work closely with the on-site team to ensure a smooth and magical guest experience. Represent West Edmonton Mall with professionalism and festive spirit at all times. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience performing as Santa Claus or in a character-based entertainment role. Genuine enthusiasm for the holiday season and comfort engaging with children and families. A real beard is preferred and should be willing to temporarily dye it white; alternatively, must be comfortable wearing a professional lace-front theatrical beard. Must be comfortable wearing a full Santa costume (provided by West Edmonton Mall). Strong interpersonal skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to stay in character. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a temporary, part-time position. Dates of employment: November 13 through to December 24. Must be available for a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Must be able to provide and pass a Vulnerable Sector Security Check prior to the start date.

Portray Santa Claus to greet guests, listen to holiday wishes, and spread festive cheer at West Edmonton Mall. Maintain character during professional photo sessions and collaborate with the on-site team to ensure a magical guest experience.

Previous experience in character-based entertainment or performing as Santa Claus is desired. Candidates must be comfortable wearing a full costume and possess strong interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
