Our Division at Manning Forest Products is currently recruiting for a Journeyperson Electrician. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be a key player in the company-wide continuous improvement effort by using troubleshooting, predictive, and preventive maintenance strategies daily. You'll Do: * Maintain a safe work environment * Ensure consistent operations of all electrical equipment in the sawmill * Verify and document repairs * Monitor product quality and provide feedback * Use of RsLogix programing software (5,500,5000) * Preventative maintenance and small construction projects * Troubleshooting for various pieces of equipment, with other trades * Shift is 7 days on/7 days off: rotating day shift and night shift You have: * Several years of experience as an Electrician * A valid Journeyperson Certification is required * Strong organizational and communication skills * Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills * Demonstrated problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills * An understanding of Process Controls and Instrumentation, including but not limited to electric over pneumatic, or hydraulic * 4th year Apprentices are encouraged to apply Considered a strong asset: * Previous experience working in a sawmill or an industrial environment Compensation Package: * Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, and vacation.
