Our Edson division in Edson, Alberta, is recruiting for a Heavy Duty Mechanic As the heavy-duty Mechanic, you will be a key player in our continuous maintenance improvement program through daily troubleshooting and preventative maintenance strategies. You'll Do: * Maintenance of Sawmill Heavy Duty Equipment such as forklifts and loaders * Maintain a safe work environment * Verify and document repairs * Monitor product quality and provide feedback * Preventative maintenance * Troubleshooting for various pieces of equipment You Have: * Candidates must possess a Red Seal Certificate * A valid journeyman or inter-provincial certification is required * Strong organizational and communication skills * Excellent interpersonal and team building skills * Demonstrated problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills * Weekend and/or shift work may be required * Valid AB driver’s license Considered a strong asset: * Previous experience working in a sawmill or an industrial environment Compensation Package: * Competitive Salary * Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays * Relocation Package Your Workplace Location: Experience the allure of Edson, Alberta, with this exciting opportunity in the heart of Yellowhead County. Perform daily troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on sawmill heavy duty equipment, including forklifts and loaders. Ensure a safe work environment while documenting repairs and monitoring product quality.

Candidates must hold a Red Seal Certificate and a valid journeyman or inter-provincial certification. A valid Alberta driver's license is required, and previous experience in a sawmill or industrial environment is considered an asset.
