Our Edson division in Edson, Alberta, is recruiting for a Heavy Duty Mechanic As the heavy-duty Mechanic, you will be a key player in our continuous maintenance improvement program through daily troubleshooting and preventative maintenance strategies. You'll Do: * Maintenance of Sawmill Heavy Duty Equipment such as forklifts and loaders * Maintain a safe work environment * Verify and document repairs * Monitor product quality and provide feedback * Preventative maintenance * Troubleshooting for various pieces of equipment You Have: * Candidates must possess a Red Seal Certificate * A valid journeyman or inter-provincial certification is required * Strong organizational and communication skills * Excellent interpersonal and team building skills * Demonstrated problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills * Weekend and/or shift work may be required * Valid AB driver’s license Considered a strong asset: * Previous experience working in a sawmill or an industrial environment Compensation Package: * Competitive Salary * Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays * Relocation Package Your Workplace Location: Experience the allure of Edson, Alberta, with this exciting opportunity in the heart of Yellowhead County.
