Westcan is currently seeking a Professional Class 1 Driver to join our team in Kamloops Terminal, with a focus on * Lime, Pneumatics * Prill, Hopper * Fuel, Tanker Work Schedule Highway, Full Time 5 on 3 off shift. What you bring: * 2 years of commercial highway driving experience * Super B, tanker and off-road experience are a strong asset; on-site drug and alcohol screen, job abilities assessment, and company paid criminal record search. * Willing to stay in the truck for 5 days Rate of pay New Hire Fuel or Hopper Board Assignment Total Base Rate $34.00 Premium $1.90 Good Operations Bonus – based on a 55 hour week $0.99 Attendance Bonus - based on 55 hours per week, the hourly equivalent earnings for a full attendance bonus at 5.77% $1.96 Total pay for regular hours $38.85 Plus $2.35 for hours between 10 PM – 5 AM local time and on weekends Total Compensation: * Bonus opportunity * Paid ($32.30/hour) on-the-job training will be provided to all employees * OT after 55 hours a week * Immediate Benefits for you and your family – no waiting 90-days! * Group RRSP matching that increases with seniority (starts at 2% matching per year) * Post-secondary scholarship opportunities for your children * referral reward payments up to $2,000 available per successful hire (certain conditions apply) * Personal Protective Equipment is provided to all employees We have a strong culture of teamwork, with a balance of seriousness and fun. Candidates must have at least 2 years of commercial highway driving experience and a valid Class 1 license. Applicants must be willing to stay in the truck for 5 days and pass a drug and alcohol screen as well as a criminal record search.
