We are seeking a few enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team in our Montreal office as Assistants to the Planning Team. These part-time positions report directly to the Director of Program Delivery. This part-time position offers flexible hours, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals balancing academic schedules or those looking to re-enter the workforce. We are looking for highly organized, communicative teammates who excels at prioritizing tasks and keeping details from falling through the cracks. You'll thrive as part of our team if you love collaborating with others and feel motivated by keeping daily operations running smoothly. What will you do? Planning and Coordination: Be part of the planning team, ensuring seamless operations for travel programs. Assist with research, planning, and making reservations across program elements such as recreational activities, restaurants, and transportation. Write and edit emails and daily plans. Supplier and Partner Relations: Communicate with local and international suppliers. Ensure all obligations and payments are reviewed and completed based on contractual agreements. Maintain a keen interest in travel trends and stay updated on current events to inform program planning. Administrative and Collaborative Tasks: Update and maintain organizational databases with meticulous notes. Collaborate with the Department Head, the Director of Program Delivery, Product Managers, and other Planning team members on cross-functional projects. Adapt to a flexible work schedule and extended hours during our peak season (June, July, and August). Complete additional duties as assigned. Must-Have: In the process of obtaining or have a University degree. Strong ability to manage competing priorities and multiple work streams. Ability to take initiative, function autonomously, and perform as an active team member with exceptional collaboration skills. Proficiency in MS Office and adaptability to learn new platforms (training provided). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to take direction and accept feedback. Nice-to-Have: International travel experience. Fluency in French, Spanish, or Italian. Why Join Us? Our office is located in Monkland Village, Montreal, easily accessible by public transit. Flexible hours: 3-10hrs a week July through March and 30hrs a week April through June.
