Personal Lines Underwriter – 12 month contract Here Is What a Typical Day Looks Like Gather and assess risk information to determine eligibility on lifestyle insurance products including auto, motorcycle, marine and RV Assist in development of new programs and maintain current programs Communicate with brokers regarding new policy issuance, changes, renewals and cancellations Advise, interpret, and validate coverage based on policy terms Issue policy changes, renewals, and cancellations Support internal departments and branches with policy interpretation and technical advice The value you bring General Insurance Level 2 License, CIP, or CAIB preferred General Insurance Level 1 License required EPIC experience an asset Underwriting experience an asset Professional communication etiquette, both written and verbal Adept in retrieving customer data efficiently Involvement in industry related associations and your community Role Details Hours: 37.5 hours/week Location: Hybrid if located in Victoria, BC.
