MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 12 HOUR ROTATING CONTINENTAL SHIFTS ******Shift Premium & Additional Incentives offered****** Pay Rate: $24.74/hour DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES May include, but are not limited to, the following: • Must have knowledge of all pigments for CAP and SUB. • Must be able to load and unload pigments for colour change in Mova Units. • Must be able to identify the difference between material, PVC, T05 and T31 for CAP. • Complete reports for each line accurately. • Inform Quality Control on lot number change. • Monitor silo levels, including T31 and T05. • Pigment not in use must be stored in proper container and at proper place. • Ensure all electrical panels are not blocked. • Ensure to keep work area clean and free of obstacles and clutter. • Ensure proper communication on any changes with Quality Control, Machine Operators and with Material Handler B. • Must inform colleague reporting for the following shift about any changes that are planned during their shift and of any other issues that they might encounter. • Inform Shift Supervisor of any issues. • Must follow schedule for changes which is provided by Shift Supervisor. • Participate in mid and year-end inventory count if needed. • Adjusts to new procedures & programs as required. • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, as applicable. • Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS • Must have completed Grade 12 or equivalent. • Three to five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is a must. • Demonstrates ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently. • Ability to complete reports accurately and legibly. • Good communication skills. • Team player, strong interpersonal skills.
