Westland Insurance Group Ltd. is growing, and we’re looking for a collaborative and client-focused professional to join our Group Benefits division as a Benefits Consultant (Hybrid). In this role, you will support a portfolio of group benefits clients and work closely with Senior Consultants, underwriting teams, and carrier partners to deliver exceptional service. Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $57,600 to $72,000 based on a 37.5-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity. Why you'll love Westland: An open, flexible and welcoming workplace Plenty of opportunities to grow and learn Autonomy to drive your own success Be part of our inclusive culture, alongside an extraordinarily talented community with diverse backgrounds A total rewards program that supports your financial, physical, and mental wellbeing Flexible paid Values Days to celebrate days important to you Paid Volunteer Days through Amplifying Communities Why we’ll love You: 3+ years of experience in employee group benefits account management Strong knowledge of group health, dental, life, disability, and ancillary benefits products Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills Experience building relationships with clients and carriers Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems CEBS, GBA, LLQP or related designation considered an asset Once here, you'll: Provide account service for assigned group benefits clients Build and maintain strong relationships with plan administrators and decision makers Support renewal processes and plan reviews alongside Senior Benefits Consultants Assist in preparing quarterly or semi-annual reports and recommendations Coordinate with carriers to implement plan changes and resolve claims issues Maintain accurate client records within CRM and internal systems Promote and upsell Westland’s suite of benefits products to existing clients Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional Westland services As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to let you know that while our recruitment system includes AI capabilities, these are never used to screen, evaluate, or select candidates. Ce que vous ferez
Provide account service and support renewal processes for a portfolio of group benefits clients. Coordinate with carriers to implement plan changes and identify opportunities to upsell Westland's suite of services.
Exigences
Requires 3+ years of experience in employee group benefits account management and strong knowledge of health, dental, life, and disability products. Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office is required, with professional designations like CEBS or GBA considered an asset.
