OVERVIEW The Food & Beverage Cashier is responsible for the efficient operation of the 24/7 Eats window at Parq Casino. They will assist guests with food orders and ensure they leave with a positive lasting impression. WHY WORK AT PARQ * Extended Health and Dental Benefits * RSP/RRSP Matching * Employee and Family Assistance Program * Tuition Reimbursement * 20% off at Parq Food & Beverage Outlets * Discounted rates at local businesses within the community * Volunteer opportunities * Employee Recognition Program * Opportunities for growth and development * Companywide events * Refer a Friend Program DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Knowledge of all food promotions and Food items on the menu * Properly refill condiments or any necessary to go items when stock is low * Maintain a safe and sanitary work area and environment * Operate in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act * Provide proactive customer service, in a friendly and professional manner * Take customers’ orders while operating the cash register * Receive and dispense correct change to customers * Issuing receipts, refunds, credits, change and cash outs at end of shift * Responsible for providing professional and exceptional customer service in accordance with established company standards * Greet and communicate with all guests in a friendly and courteous manner * Clear, clean maintain tables that guests use and general cleaning of work area in the 2go area * Perform other job-related duties, as directed by management QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE * Ability to get along well with others in a team environment * Able to stand for long periods of time * Proven superior customer service experience * Committed to promoting a safe work environment * Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task * Flexible work schedule to accommodate operational needs of a casino environment * Friendly, outgoing and professional * Respectful approach and demeanor CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS * Ability to obtain a valid GAMW registration * Ability to complete all BCLC required trainings * Food Safe Certification * Serving it Right Certification PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs * Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours At Parq Casino, we believe in fostering a culture of connection, care, responsibility and sustainability with our players, our people, our place and our partners.
