Whispering Pines Landscaping is looking for enthusiastic Gardening Crew Members to join our award-winning team. Working alongside experienced horticultural professionals, you'll help maintain and enhance stunning residential and commercial properties while developing your gardening skills in a supportive team environment. Start Date: September 2026 What You'll Do Every day brings something new! As a Gardening Crew Member, you'll help care for beautiful landscapes by: Maintaining residential and commercial gardens to the highest standard Planting annuals, perennials, shrubs, ornamental grasses, and trees Weeding, edging, deadheading, pruning, and shaping plants throughout the season Applying mulch, compost, fertilizers, and soil amendments Watering gardens and monitoring plant health Identifying weeds, pests, and plant concerns and communicating them to your Crew Leader Assisting with seasonal garden enhancements and fall cleanups Operating hand tools and power equipment safely, including hedge trimmers, blowers, cultivators, and pruners Loading and unloading plants, materials, and equipment while helping keep trucks and trailers organized Maintaining clean, safe, and professional job sites Providing friendly, professional service while interacting with clients Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions as part of a supportive, hardworking team What We're Looking For Passion for gardening and working outdoors Positive attitude and strong work ethic Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new horticultural skills and techniques Physical ability to lift, bend, kneel, and work outdoors throughout the day Previous gardening or landscaping experience is an asset but not required—we're happy to train the right person A valid G Driver's Licence is considered an asset Why Join Whispering Pines Landscaping?
