Whether this be maintaining the plazas and facilities at the base of both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains; to parking efficiency and greeting guests with a smile. This job strives to create the best sense of arrival in our guests as they arrive at Whistler Blackcomb. The Base Area Day Attendants take care of all valley locations and facilities at the resort, including but not limited to, snow removal (winter only), maintaining grounds cleanliness, indoor cleaning, washroom cleaning, minor facility maintenance, managing guest pick-up/drop-off locations and assisting across the resort where required. Job Specifications Starting Wage: $20.00/hr Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026 Shift Type: Full Time hours available Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age Housing Availability: No Job Responsibilities Maintaining building cleanliness and frequent washroom cleaning at all 4 main valley locations at Whistler Blackcomb. Emptying garbage and common area recycling bins both inside and outside. Sweeping and litter control of both indoor and outdoor areas. Assist in maintaining our collection facilities and zonal loading bays. Ability to use cleaning equipment – including vacuums, floor cleaning machines and indoor pressure washers, ice traction devices and more. Deep cleaning of facilities when required. Adherence to all safety and operational policies, PPE & procedures – your safety is our priority! Responsible for all equipment and supplies. Ensure that supply closets are clean, neat, and accessible. Assisting the Base Area Operations parking team with parking procedures on peak days and when required. Able to meet the physical demands, such as snow shoveling, salting and heavy lifting. Job Requirements Knowledge of Whistler Blackcomb resort an asset but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team. Bring with you that ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to help. Demonstrate a high attention to detail. Strong initiative, problem solving, and open communication skills. Proof of clear criminal record check.
