Purpose: A key member of our Kaybob south area, you will provide support to the operations team, ensuring that gas is produced in an efficient and cost-effective manner which facilitates safety, health, environmental, and regulatory compliance and business stewardship. Your primary responsibility will be the day-to-day operation and maintenance of field equipment within assigned operations runs, while adhering to government and company standards. Main Responsibilities & Activities: Oversee the day-to-day operation, inspection, maintenance, alteration and repair of the field equipment Ensuring Environment, Health & Safety are a top priority, and completing all work with a safety conscious attitude Must be a team player with good communication skills and willingness to learn and be accepting and receptive to new ideas. Complete and maintain accurate records and submissions of all necessary documents and reports in relation to the field operation and equipment. Perform housekeeping duties as necessary on and around equipment, process area, and control room; keeping equipment and well sites clean and clear. Routine well maintenance, chemical pump checks and repairs, plunger/ bumper spring measuring and replacement Safety and compliance inspections (Safety, Tanks, Lease…) Pipeline Operations and maintenance (Pigging, chemical programs, inspections) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Minimum 5 years oil field well operating experience. Flowing wells, Plunger wells, Gas lift wells, well site power generation Good computer skills are a necessity. Self –motivated, open-minded and results oriented. Safety training current and up to date including: First Aid/CPR, H2S. Other Info: Qualified candidates must have ability to work an 8 days ON/6 days OFF shifts with a rotating schedule when required. Work location is near Fox Creek, Alberta but candidates from the Whitecourt area will also be considered. Successful candidate will be required to work overtime as well as holidays if they fall during normal work schedule.

Requires a minimum of 5 years of oil field well operating experience with specific knowledge of flowing, plunger, and gas lift wells. Must possess current First Aid/CPR and H2S certifications and be able to work an 8-on/6-off rotating shift.
