Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. specializes in high-end plumbing and HVAC services in Calgary, AB, and we're looking for a hard-working person to join us as a full-time Journeyperson Plumber in our Custom Homes division. If you are looking for a career in doing good work at a reasonable pace, then this position is for you. We're offering an opportunity to work in new construction in 3,000-16,000 square feet custom homes where you'll work on clean sites and utilize your skills in an environment where people care about and value both how it looks and how it performs. You will have an opportunity to be recognized for your individual accomplishments and problem-solving skills. WHAT WE OFFER: GREAT PAY Our Custom Homes Journeyperson earns a competitive wage of $38.00-$46.00/hr, based on skill level and experience. STABLE, FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE You'll typically work Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM. OUR IDEAL JOURNEYPERSON PLUMBER FOR CUSTOM HOMES: We're Looking For Someone Who Meets These Qualifications Journeyperson certification level Experience in new home construction, competent in rough in plumbing In-depth knowledge about plumbing installation procedures, equipment, quality standards, and safety guidelines Working knowledge of Alberta plumbing and gas codes Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record Attention to detail and a motivation to produce high-quality work And Who Can Manage These Responsibilities Rough-ins, groundworks and installing of new plumbing systems in new homes Read and interpret blueprints, manuals and designer elevations Perform system tests using air and water pressure gauges to detect leaks and other issues Follow all safety protocols and company procedures on job sites Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely execution of custom projects Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
