The Leader We're Looking For: You're someone people naturally follow. You lead by example, communicate clearly, and believe that the best projects are built by strong teams. You're organized, adaptable, and confident making decisions in a fast-paced construction environment while never compromising safety or quality. Most importantly, you understand that great leaders build people just as much as they build projects. Key Duties & Responsibilities Plan and supervise landscape construction work to maximize productivity and meet project schedules. Being hands-on in field construction involved in all aspects of project construction including planning, construction, quality, and safety. Communicating to the Foreman upcoming needs for the project including materials, manpower and equipment. Identify and resolve field issues before they impact production. Ensure all work meets company standards, project specifications, and client expectations. Ensures that all work is being done safely and in an efficient manner that maintains Wilco's excellent quality. Train, coach, and develop crew members while identifying future leaders with a focus on Wilco procedures and safe work practices. Complete daily reporting, safety documentation, and payroll confirmation using modern field technology. Minimum 3 years of Landscaping Experience. Proven experience as Landscape Lead Hand. Successful completion of a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test. Demonstrable leadership skills. Solid understanding of landscaping, tree and shrub planting, pavers and concrete. Comfortable using tablets, construction software, and digital reporting systems. Ability to read construction drawings, grades, and survey information. Experience with GPS machine control, laser levels, or related construction technology is an asset Work unsupervised with a 3-5 person crew. Have solid knowledge of the fundamental principals of landscaping including grading, planting and hardscape. Valid drivers license. Competitive wages with overtime pay.
