*City Driver - Dedicated Overnight Run* *Overview* We are seeking an experienced and reliable City Driver for a dedicated overnight pin-to-pin run. This position operates Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, highly dependable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. This role involves operating a city truck and pulling customer trailers, requiring a strong commitment to proper equipment handling, timely deliveries, and consistent performance in an overnight environment. *Responsibilities* * Perform a dedicated pin-to-pin run on a consistent nightly schedule * Safely operate a city truck in compliance with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations * Complete thorough *pre-trip and post-trip inspections*, ensuring equipment is in safe, roadworthy condition * Handle customer trailers with care and professionalism * Maintain accurate trip logs and required documentation * Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any issues promptly * Ensure the truck is left in proper condition for daytime operations *Qualifications* * Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver?s License * Minimum 2 years of Class 1 Canadian driving experience * Proven ability to work independently with minimal overnight support * Strong understanding of trip inspections and equipment care * Ability to follow a strict schedule and meet delivery timelines consistently * Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently * Mechanical aptitude is considered an asset * Strong attention to safety protocols and regulatory compliance * Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism *What We're Looking For Qualifications* * A self-motivated, dependable driver who takes pride in their equipment * Someone comfortable working overnight with limited supervision * A professional who understands the importance of maintaining equipment for shared use Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off Experience: * Class 1: 2 years (required) Work Location: On the road
