WINDO develops robotics solutions for the service industry. We're the biggest manufacturer of drone cleaning systems in Canada. The job is hands-on: you design parts, machine or print them, assemble them, and go test them. The work 3D design (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or equivalent) and rapid prototyping: machining, 3D printing, welding Selection and integration of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic components Working directly with the electronics and software team Assembly, field testing, validation, documentation What you need Solid mechanical foundation: design, strength of materials, assembly Hands-on prototyping experience: machining, welding, hydraulic/pneumatic assembly Initiative, autonomy, and curiosity across varied projects Nice to have Drone experience Basic robotics knowledge Experience with fast R&D cycles Comfortable in a small team moving quickly $80,000 a year, full-time, on-site in LaSalle. Design, prototype, and assemble mechanical parts for drone cleaning systems using 3D design software and various fabrication methods. Collaborate with electronics and software teams to integrate components and perform field testing and validation.

Requires a solid foundation in mechanical design and strength of materials along with hands-on experience in machining and welding. Candidates should demonstrate initiative and autonomy in a fast-paced R&D environment.
