Responsibilities Tasks Coordinate access and use of computer networks Install software Install web server hardware and software Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade web server hardware and software Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance

The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting local and wide area networks, including web server hardware and software. The administrator is also responsible for monitoring system performance and implementing network security software.

Candidates must have 2 to 3 years of experience and a non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to 1 year. Proficiency in English is required.
