Wood is currently accepting applications for Journeyperson Offshore Rigger personnel (Adhoc) with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry. This role will be located offshore Newfoundland and Labrador and will be a casual call-out role. The successful candidate will be willing and eligible to travel Offshore via helicopter or supply vessel. As a rigger Journeyperson, you will be responsible for development of rigging plans, lay out, fabrication, assembly, installation and maintenance of various rigging systems, supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for industrial production, processing systems and general maintenance. In this role you will also be using power tools, various rigging equipment, and hand tools. You will be working in confined spaces and/or at heights, as well as noisy conditions.
