We're a not-for-profit mental health centre based in Calgary, with locations across Alberta. Our mission is to build good mental health and well-being so everyone can thrive in their community. We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and resilient Youth & Family Counsellors to join our team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Schedule: This position follows a rotating 12-hour shift schedule Rotation: 4-day shifts, followed by 4 days off, then 4 night shifts, with the rotation repeating on an ongoing basis Day Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Night Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Key Responsibilities: Build positive and supportive relationships with children, youth and families. Provide therapeutic, trauma-informed care within a structured residential setting. Support youth in developing life skills, emotional regulation, and healthy relationships. Participate in case planning, team meetings, and ongoing professional development. Collaborate with families, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a safe, supportive environment. Assist with daily program operations, including transportation, meal preparation, household tasks, and recreational activities. Respond effectively to crisis situations and provide emotional support as needed. Qualifications: Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in the Social Sciences, Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Nursing. Current proof of professional registration may be required for certain diplomas or degrees. Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children, youth, or families. Current First Aid and CPR Certification. Valid Class 5 Driver's License, reliable transportation and Drivers Abstract with no more than 6 demerits. Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts. Willingness to relocate to Fort McMurray. Exigences

Requires a diploma or degree in Social Sciences, Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or Nursing, along with at least 2 years of experience with youth. Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License and current First Aid/CPR certification.
