Wood is recruiting a Rope Access Technician (Abseiler)- Offshore Adhoc (Casual /Temporary) to join its Operations team focusing on the oil and gas petrochemical industry. This opportunity is offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, working on an as needed, call-out basis. The Role * Location: Offshore Newfoundland and Labrador * Site / Office based: Hibernia * Hours of work: 12 hours per day * Rotation / work pattern: Call out, as needed * Required: Site-specific medical, drug and alcohol testing * Unionized position: Rates follow the Collective Bargaining Agreement You will be working in confined spaces and/or at heights, as well as noisy conditions. Work may be indoors or outdoors, and at extreme temperatures.
