Job Summary To operate equipment and assemble components, in all areas of secondary operation. Responsibilities Operation of secondary equipment. Assembling, sorting, and packing of parts. Part inspection, removing any loose flash and burrs. Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe environment. Removing machine turnings, stacking finished goods, garbage removal. Clean-up work areas, wash station down, clean screens and empty trays. Ability to lift and carry items ranging from minimum (1 lbs) to maximum (30 lbs) Standing for long periods (on their feet for the entire shift except for breaks) Bending (15–20%), kneeling (1%), reaching (15–20%) Repetitive motions (80%) Walking or climbing stairs/ladders (10–15%), only when doing repairs or visiting the supervisor’s office Work Environment Exposure to noise (must wear hearing protection on the floor; exposed to high noise levels the entire time while on the floor) Temperature conditions (hot/cold environments); heat break policy is in effect due to the temperatures during the summer months Education, Experience And Skills Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent Why work for Meridian Lightweight Technologies?
