Do you enjoy solving complex business problems, improving processes, and supporting meaningful organizational change? Are you skilled in project management, business analysis, research, or data-driven decision-making? If so, consider joining our Divisional Planning, Coordination, and Support Services team as a temporary Divisional Planning Analyst. In this role, you will support and coordinate strategic initiatives across the Claims and Rehabilitation Services division. You’ll contribute throughout the full project lifecycle, from discovery and planning to implementation and performance monitoring. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will gain broad exposure to divisional priorities, including operations, policy, people, processes, and technology, while helping drive improvements that enhance service delivery and business outcomes. This position is approximately 1 year in length. Where you’ll work At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines working remotely and in our offices based on the operational needs of the position. As a Divisional Planning Analyst You Will Manage a portfolio of projects for the Claims and Rehabilitation Services division, including discovery, leading requirements workshops, designing interventions and pilots, evaluating pilots, and writing and presenting reports Ensure projects are managed and delivered on time and on budget Work closely with stakeholders to understand the business problems, needs and objectives Evaluate, interpret, and present evidence of project findings to decision-makers in a clear and concise manner to support business planning Prepare comprehensive, coherent, and professional reports and presentations for a broad range of internal stakeholders, including senior management We’re Looking For Someone Who Can Be nimble and flexible, and open to try and experiment with different things to find the best approach to business problems Independently plan, prioritize, and coordinate complex and concurrent activities to meet deadlines in a constantly changing environment Manage multiple, changing priorities Your Background And Experience A master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as business administration, sociology, mathematics, psychology, statistics, public policy, computer science, or economics A minimum of three years of experience applying principles and practices in one or more of the following business areas: Project management Qualitative and quantitative research practices, methods, and trends Other related business fields such as business analysis, operations management, and market research We’ll consider equivalent combinations of education and experience.
