Your work will influence critical environmental decisions and contribute to responsible resource development. #GlobalMining #ERI_Opportunities #carrières_ERI Your Impact Develop and apply water quality and hydrodynamic models for lakes, reservoirs, pit lakes, rivers, and watershed systems. Calibrate and validate models that guide water management strategies and environmental decision-making. Support environmental impact assessments, baseline studies, and mine closure planning initiatives. Analyze complex environmental datasets, including surface water monitoring data and modelling outputs. Contribute to conceptual model development through parameterization, scenario analysis, and interpretation of results. Prepare high-quality technical reports, figures, and regulatory submissions that withstand technical review. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, practical, and defensible water management solutions. Support proposal development and engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to advance project outcomes. The Skills That Set You Apart 5+ years of experience in water quality modelling, hydrodynamic modelling, or surface water assessments. Degree in Environmental, Civil, Water Resources Engineering, or a related discipline. Eligible for registration or currently registered as an EIT or P.Eng. within a Canadian jurisdiction. Experience with modelling platforms such as CE-QUAL-W2, MIKE3, GEMSS, WASP, GoldSim, or equivalent tools. Strong understanding of surface water processes, aquatic systems, and water quality dynamics. Proficiency with data analysis and programming tools including Python, R, MATLAB, or advanced Excel. Experience supporting environmental monitoring programs and working with large environmental datasets.
