This opportunity offers hands‑on experience, frequent travel, and the chance to develop strong field, reporting, and project coordination skills. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your Impact * Prepare and follow site‑specific Health & Safety Plans to reduce or eliminate risk. * Identify and report hazards, near‑loss events, and loss incidents. * Collect soil and groundwater samples and maintain precise field notes. * Conduct field programs including groundwater monitoring, soil vapour sampling, test pits, hand augering, drilling oversight, and related activities under supervision. * Support office tasks such as data entry, preparing documentation, coordinating equipment and subcontractors, and contributing to report preparation. * Maintain project documentation and manage field records with accuracy. * Carry out tasks in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. * Travel across Atlantic Canada — and occasionally beyond — for multi‑day field assignments. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Skills That Set You Apart * Diploma in environmental sciences or related technical discipline. * Positive, proactive attitude with willingness to learn and work independently. * Strong awareness of health and safety principles. * Clear, accurate documentation skills and strong attention to detail. * Valid driver’s license and comfort with frequent travel. * Eligibility for professional certification is an asset. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why Choose WSP? The technician will support environmental field programs by collecting soil and groundwater samples and conducting various field monitoring activities. They will also assist with office tasks such as data entry, documentation, and coordinating equipment and subcontractors.

Candidates must hold a diploma in environmental sciences or a related technical discipline and possess a valid driver's license. A proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to health and safety principles are essential for this role.
