This opportunity offers hands‑on experience, frequent travel, and the chance to develop strong field, reporting, and project coordination skills. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your Impact * Prepare and follow site‑specific Health & Safety Plans to reduce or eliminate risk. * Identify and report hazards, near‑loss events, and loss incidents. * Collect soil and groundwater samples and maintain precise field notes. * Conduct field programs including groundwater monitoring, soil vapour sampling, test pits, hand augering, drilling oversight, and related activities under supervision. * Support office tasks such as data entry, preparing documentation, coordinating equipment and subcontractors, and contributing to report preparation. * Maintain project documentation and manage field records with accuracy. * Carry out tasks in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. * Travel across Atlantic Canada — and occasionally beyond — for multi‑day field assignments. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Skills That Set You Apart * Diploma in environmental sciences or related technical discipline. * Positive, proactive attitude with willingness to learn and work independently. * Strong awareness of health and safety principles. * Clear, accurate documentation skills and strong attention to detail. * Valid driver’s license and comfort with frequent travel. * Eligibility for professional certification is an asset. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why Choose WSP?
