Your role and responsibilitie s:As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will work in close collaboration with the broad engineering and operations teams t o:Translate test strategies into detailed test plans and ensure proper coverage of the syste m.Define and implement methods to establish complete traceability of the tests to ensure design integrit y.Define best practices to create and maintain test documentatio n.Coach and train the broader team to the methods and tools detailed abov e.Translate test procedures into manufacturing processes; ensure their accuracy and completeness is sufficient for a successful transfer to manufacturin g.Work alongside subject matter experts to integrate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) throughout the product lifecycl e.Implement methods for root cause analysis and continuous improvemen t. Basic qualifications and experien ce:BSc in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or a related fiel d).5+ years of experience in systems engineeri ng.Demonstrated expertise in documenting test plans for complex systems involving hardware, firmware and softwa re.Experience bringing systems from research into pilot scale assemb ly.Demonstrated ability to work with multi-domain tea ms. Preferred qualifications and experie nce:● Experience with quantum syst ems.Experience with DfM and DfT.Experience with FMEA and standard root-cause analy sis.Experience with model-based systems engineer ing.Ability to work in fast-paced R&D organization and adapt methods to the needs of the busi ness This is for a new position. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and internal benchmarks. The base salary range is 180,000 - 220,000 CAD. You will also be eligible for equity and bene fits.
