Candidates must be local to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Mandatory Technologies Databricks PySpark Azure DevOps Databricks Genie Agent Bricks Job Responsibilities Responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-based solutions. Experience in enterprise adoption to ensure the integration of modern, AI-driven capabilities and align architecture with key business outcomes. Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms on Databricks. Develop overall data architecture strategy, release planning, and platform roadmap while partnering closely with customer stakeholders to accelerate Databricks adoption and modernization initiatives. Provide strong technical leadership and customer-facing communication, with the ability to drive solutions from strategy through execution. Experience in implementing Agent Bricks to enable high-quality, domain-specific AI agents that automatically refine performance using enterprise data. Experience in creating data warehouses and data lakes for reporting, AI, and machine learning. Integrate Genie and AI-BI tools to enable natural-language analytics within Databricks One and the broader AI/BI suites. Experience with Azure Databricks, ADF, Azure Synapse, and PySpark. Integrate Azure Data Lake, DevOps pipelines, and Databricks workflows to achieve seamless end-to-end automation. Experience integrating different data sources with Data Warehouses and Data Lakes. Strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture concepts. Ability to clearly articulate the pros and cons of various technologies and platforms. Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that leverage AWS and Azure cloud. Define and implement cloud governance and best practices. Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase operational efficiency.

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms and secure cloud-based solutions on Databricks. Develop data architecture strategies and integrate AI-driven capabilities to align with business outcomes.

Requires deep expertise in Databricks, PySpark, and Azure ecosystem tools including DevOps and Synapse. Must have experience implementing AI agents and managing end-to-end data automation and governance.
