As a Unit Nurse, the Registered Practical Nurse is responsible for day-to-day supervision of staff in the unit and coordination of resident care with interdisciplinary team members as well as communications with families. Qualifications: Registered Practical Nurse with current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario Physical Demands/Working Conditions: Considerable standing, walking, lifting and bending. Exposure to all resident care elements through regular resident contact. The Registered Practical Nurse performs nursing functions in compliance with CNO standards and provides high-quality, resident-centered care. They are also responsible for the day-to-day supervision of unit staff and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.

Candidates must be a Registered Practical Nurse with a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario. Proficiency in Chinese is strongly preferred, and successful applicants must provide a vulnerable sector police check and medical clearance.
