Description Training Coordinator Under the authority of the YKDFN Government Chiefs and Council and under the direct supervision of the Manager, Skills Programs, the Training Coordinator is directly responsible to coordinate, implement and deliver all aspects of the Dechita Naowo Skills Development Training Programs. The Training Coordinator is responsible for identifying and coordinating community training and employability skills initiatives; providing career counselling to local clients; and identifying and fostering employment opportunities. Providing adequate services will result in training and skill development to increase the level of employment opportunities and income within the community and reduce individual dependence on social programs. Providing increased training and employment opportunities will have a significant effect on the overall well-being of community clients. This office-based position is located in N’dilo. Typically, The Above Qualifications Would Be Attained By Post-secondary Diploma or Certification in Human Services and/or Career Development coupled with 2 years related experience; or Equivalent combination of education and training in a professional development program in Human Services with 4 years direct work-related experience; and Valid Class ‘5’ Driver’s License and own vehicle.
