Child Engagement Support Volunteer

The Child Engagement Support Volunteer provides calm, one-to-one engagement for children who benefit from additional relational support during their day. Through play-based interaction and shared activities, the volunteer helps foster emotional safety, connection and participation in the learning environment. This role is designed to supplement, not replace, educator support and is guided closely by qualified childcare staff. This role involves flexible scheduling with 3-to-8-hour shifts, 2 to 5 shifts per week and includes regular interaction with children at their physical level through bending, sitting on the floor, moving, and playing.
