This position in on site 5 days a week and is not offer hybrid or remote Position Summary The Industry Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies for assigned industry verticals, including Mining, Construction, Infrastructure, Utilities, Energy, Environmental Services, or Government and other penetrating industry verticals. This role combines market research, positioning, campaign planning, content strategy, sales enablement, and customer insights to drive pipeline growth and market penetration within targeted industries. The Industry Marketing Specialist serves as the internal subject matter expert on market trends, customer challenges, competitive dynamics, and industry-specific opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams, regional marketing managers, demand generation, content teams, and operational leaders to create compelling industry-focused marketing programs that generate awareness, leads, and revenue. Key Responsibilities Industry Expertise & Market Intelligence Become the organization's expert on assigned industry verticals. Responsibilities Develop deep knowledge of industry trends, regulations, economic drivers, and emerging opportunities. Conduct market/customer research and competitive analysis. Monitor competitor positioning, messaging, campaigns, and market activity. Identify customer pain points and emerging industry challenges. Maintain industry-specific buyer personas. Track market shifts and provide recommendations to leadership. Industry Positioning & Messaging Create compelling messaging that resonates with decision makers within target industries. Responsibilities Develop vertical-specific value propositions. Translate drone, survey, geospatial, and inspection capabilities into business outcomes. Create messaging frameworks for key audiences. Ensure industry terminology and language are reflected in marketing materials. Align messaging across website, campaigns, collateral, and sales tools. Campaign Development Develop industry-focused campaigns that support pipeline growth. Responsibilities Plan and execute marketing programs tailored to target industries. Collaborate with the demand generation team on integrated campaigns. Support account-based marketing initiatives. Develop targeted nurture streams and content journeys. Coordinate regional adaptations of global campaigns. Campaign Channels Social media Email marketing Website Webinars Industry publications Trade associations Events and conferences Thought leadership programs Content Strategy & Thought Leadership Drive the development of high-quality industry content. Responsibilities Identify content gaps within assigned industries. Partner with writers and offshore content teams. Ensure content quality and industry relevance. Develop thought leadership topics. Source customer success stories and case studies. Create industry playbooks and guides. Sales Enablement Support revenue teams with industry-focused materials and insights. Responsibilities Partner closely with sales leadership. Create industry-specific sales presentations. Develop battle cards and competitive positioning guides. Support strategic account planning. Assist sales teams with key opportunities. Deliver training on market trends and industry messaging. Deliverables Sales playbooks Industry presentations Competitive battle cards Opportunity-specific support materials Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. Relevant industry certifications considered an asset. 3-5 years of B2B marketing experience. Experience marketing to technical or industrial audiences. Experience developing industry-specific marketing programs. Strong understanding of content marketing and lead generation.
