We are committed to excellence in education, compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting our learners with strong academic and career services. *Position Overview* The *Administrative Assistant* will oversee the planning, coordination, and administration of academic programs at Ace Community College. This role requires strong organizational skills, regulatory compliance knowledge, and a commitment to supporting students and faculty. The Administrative Assistant works closely with instructors, students, and senior leadership to ensure smooth program delivery and alignment with institutional goals. *Key Responsibilities* * Manage day-to-day program operations, including scheduling, instructor coordination, and student support. * Ensure compliance with PTIB regulations, including program outlines, program change applications, and required reporting. * Monitor student progress, attendance, and completion requirements; provide academic support and interventions as needed. * Maintain accurate student records, including admissions, assessments, evaluations, and graduation documentation. * Act as a liaison between students, instructors, and administration to resolve academic or operational concerns. * Assist in planning and implementing new programs, program modifications, and accreditation submissions. * Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement of teaching and program delivery. *Qualifications* * Minimum *5 years of experience* in the education sector (career colleges, post-secondary, or adult training preferred). * Bachelor?s degree in Education, Administration, or related field (Master?s degree considered an asset). * Knowledge of private career college regulations and compliance requirements (PTIB/Ministry of Post-Secondary Education preferred). * Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (Moodle experience an asset). * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. *Compensation & Benefits* * Salary: *$45,000 ? $60,000 annually*, based on experience. * Extended health and dental benefits. * Paid vacation and statutory holidays. * Professional development opportunities. * Supportive and collaborative work environment.
