Job Title: Junior Electrical EngineerJob Description This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing electronics manufacturing company, where you will play a critical role in developing manufacturing strategies and improving operational processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a high-reliability environment, gaining exposure to leadership roles and contributing to the company's success. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and debug analog and digital electronic circuits. Perform soldering and rework of through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) components. Assemble and modify prototype electronic assemblies. Utilize electronic test and measurement equipment, such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, function/frequency generators, and DC power supplies. Understand switch-mode power supply (SMPS) circuits and power electronics. Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical issues. Essential Skills Proficiency in troubleshooting and reworking electronic components. Experience with electronics testing equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Strong knowledge of electronics and circuit operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in prototype assembly, product testing, and validation. Failure analysis and manufacturing support experience. Background in lighting, transportation, or industrial electronics. Work Environment This role is situated in a collaborative, hands-on manufacturing environment, working closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams. The position offers autonomy to make decisions and implement improvements, directly influencing operational performance in a dynamic electronics manufacturing facility. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mississauga, ON. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
