Accessory Technician

Action Car and Truck Accessories is Canada’s only national car and truck accessory retailer and distributor to both the private and industry sectors. With our head office in Moncton, we have 44 stores and distribution centres across the country. We are currently seeking an Accessory Technician to join our Kelowna team. The Accessory Technician is responsible for professionally installing aftermarket automotive accessories on customer vehicles while ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and an exceptional customer experience. Wage Range $25-$34 hour based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Install aftermarket accessories including lift kits, stereos, vent visors, truck caps, running boards, lighting, and other automotive products Inspect vehicles and confirm fitment requirements prior to installation Maintain accurate work orders and installation documentation Ensure all installations meet company quality and safety standards Troubleshoot installation challenges and recommend solutions Maintain a clean and organized shop workspace Support team members and provide excellent customer-focused service Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience installing aftermarket automotive accessories Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Passion for cars and trucks with hands-on wrenching experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Valid driver’s license We offer competitive wages, full health and dental benefits, paid vacation, and great employee discounts. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in aftermarket automotive accessory installation and a valid driver's license. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in a team are required.
