For over 20 years, Active Homes has been one of Edmonton’s leading high-volume home builders, known for quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and a strong customer experience. We build in multiple communities across Edmonton and surrounding areas, offering both customizable and quick possession homes. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Sales Manager to represent Active Homes in our show homes across the Edmonton region. About the Role This is a professional sales role responsible for guiding customers through the new home buying process from first visit through to possession while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will manage the full sales cycle, including lead follow-up, product education, contract completion and ongoing customer support. Success in this role requires urgency, strong sales ability, consistent follow-up, and a proactive approach to building referrals through realtors, social media and other outreach. Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Experience · Welcome and engage with visitors to Active Homes show homes. · Understand customer needs and recommend suitable home options. · Conduct show home tours and present home features, community information and available homes. · Guide clients through the home buying journey from initial inquiry to purchase agreement and through to possession. · Serve as a positive ambassador for Active Homes and its communities. · Perform market research to find out buyer trends, competitor positioning and ensure up to date information on pricing and promotions in the region. · Participate in community events, open houses, and promotional activities as required. · Foster relationships with realtors, referral partners, and industry stakeholders. · Develop leads through realtors, social media and other outreach. Lead Management & Administration · Maintain accurate customer records within the CRM system. · Track visitor traffic, leads, appointments, and sales activities. · Ensure all purchase agreements and supporting documents are explained and completed accurately. · Prepare reports and documentation related to sales performance. · Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. · Assist customers with selections, customization, documentation and communication through the process. · Maintain excellent communication and updates with customers and internal teams. · Recommend models and specifications for quick possession homes. Show Home Operations · Ensure the show home staffed and operational during all show home hours. · Ensure the show home is clean, presentable, and professionally maintained at all times. · Maintain inventory of all up to date marketing material in the show home. · Ensure all lot and quick possession home inventory is up to date. · Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. Qualifications · Positive attitude, a strong sense of urgency and a love of new home sales. · Previous experience in new home sales required. · Strong communication and selling skills. · Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. · Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management abilities. · Comfortable working independently in a show home environment. · Knowledge of Edmonton's residential real estate market. · Understanding of home construction processes and residential floor plans. · Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. · Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
