Position Summary Acuren is seeking a professional and energetic Heath and Safety Coordinator to support our business during this upcoming turnaround season! Are you passionate about safety? Do you have extensive experience working in the safety field and are interested in taking on a new project? If so, apply today! Project Details: Contract duration: September 2026 - October 5, 2026 Schedule: 6/1 rotation, 12 hour night shifts Fly in/Fly out of major Alberta Hubs (Edmonton or Calgary) Responsibilities Responsible for the coordination, and administration of safety on project site. Responsible for carrying out inspections and audits of the workplace. Proactively promote our safety culture through toolbox meetings, and safety awareness. Knowledge of applicable safety rules and regulations; and be an effective negotiator, that uses logic and reason to persuade and influence others to find the solutions that everyone will accept. Requirements NCSO or CRST Professional Certification required. OHS Certification would be an asset but not required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a field safety-related discipline. Heavy industrial operations experience is an asset. A proven track record in participation of safety management processes e.g. safety committees and working groups and heavy industrial auditing and inspection experience. You are an excellent planner, organizer, with refined interpersonal and communication skills and have demonstrated computer competency with Microsoft Office software. Exigences
