Adecco is currently hiring an Electronic Test Specialist for a permanent client opportunity based in Oakville, ON. This role is ideal for a technically curious and hands-on electronics professional with experience in testing, troubleshooting, IoT technology, and connected systems. In this position, you will contribute to the testing, documentation, validation, and implementation of advanced electronic products and connected vehicle technologies while working closely with engineering and operations teams in a collaborative environment. Salary: $65,000 - $80,000/year Location: Oakville, ON Schedule: Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent Responsibilities Perform hardware and software testing of electronic products and systems. Document testing procedures, results, technical findings, and validation activities. Assist with the assembly, troubleshooting, and rework of test and production units. Install and evaluate electronic systems on test vehicles and equipment. Coordinate and manage field testing activities. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers when required. Support product development and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on product validation activities. Contribute to the development, testing, documentation, and implementation of innovative electronic technologies. Perform additional duties as required to support business objectives. Qualifications 3-5+ years of relevant work experience integrating IoT technology. Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automotive Technology Degree or diploma - or a related technical discipline. Strong technical aptitude with a passion for troubleshooting and problem solving. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to contribute wherever needed. Familiarity with vehicle electronics, multiplexing systems, and J1939 CAN networking is considered an asset. Experience with WiFi and Bluetooth technologies is considered an asset. Knowledge of electronic monitoring and imaging systems is considered an asset. Exposure to transportation, industrial, mobile equipment, or related technologies is considered an asset.
