Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Project Manager on behalf of our client, in Kitimat, BC. This opportunity is ideal for a results-driven project professional with a strong track record of delivering complex projects in industrial, utilities, engineering, mining, energy, or heavy industry environments. You will lead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring successful delivery while balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, stakeholder expectations, and business objectives. Projects may include both capital and closure initiatives and require strong leadership, communication, and project execution capabilities. Pay Rate: $95/hour Location: Kitimat, BC Shift: Monday to Friday Job type: Contract | Full-time Responsibilities: Project Management & Delivery Lead projects from planning through execution and closeout Deliver projects in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements Monitor project performance and ensure alignment with business objectives Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and execution strategies Track and report project progress, milestones, risks, and performance metrics Stakeholder Management Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Facilitate effective communication across project teams and business units Partner with stakeholders to define project requirements and desired outcomes Risk & Change Management Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues Coordinate resolution of project challenges and performance concerns Manage project changes and ensure proper governance processes are followed Develop mitigation strategies to support successful project delivery Contract & Vendor Management Support procurement activities and contractor selection processes Coordinate vendors, consultants, and contractors throughout project execution Monitor vendor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met Assist with contract administration and project-related commercial activities Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and methodologies Promote best practices in project planning, execution, and reporting Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives Support the ongoing development of project management standards and practices Qualifications and Skills: Significant project management experience within industrial, utilities, engineering, mining, energy, construction, or heavy industry environments Proven experience managing projects from initiation through completion Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management Experience managing contractors, consultants, and vendor relationships Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated experience delivering projects on time and within budget Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership capabilities Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
