About AGL Surfaces AGL Surfaces is the architectural surfaces division of AGL, a Canadian company with over 37 years of industry experience. Our Galleria in Stoney Creek showcases a curated portfolio of high-performance materials for interior and exterior architecture. Our portfolio includes Sintered Stone, Natural Textured Stone, Nano-Crystallized Glass, and Architectural Panels, serving architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, fabricators, and homeowners across a wide range of applications. The Opportunity We are looking for a Showroom & Design Coordinator to become an integral part of our growing AGL Surfaces team. This is a hybrid showroom, design-support, customer service, and administrative role. You will help create an exceptional experience for clients visiting the Galleria while providing the administrative coordination needed to keep inquiries, samples, appointments, projects, and sales activities organized and moving forward. This position is ideal for someone who has a genuine interest in interior design, architecture, materials, and architectural surfaces, combined with strong administrative and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist architects, designers, builders, contractors, fabricators, and homeowners visiting the Galleria. Develop strong product knowledge across AGL Surfaces' Sintered Stone, Natural Textured Stone, Nano-Crystallized Glass, and Architectural Panels collections. Assist clients and design professionals with product, colour, finish, and sample selection. Help clients understand the characteristics and potential applications of different surface materials. Maintain an organized, current, and visually compelling showroom and sample library. Prepare samples, product information, specifications, and presentation materials for client meetings. Answer and direct phone calls and emails and respond to general showroom inquiries. Schedule showroom appointments, presentations, tours, and sales meetings. Maintain accurate customer, project, and communication information within the CRM. Support sales representatives with project administration, samples, follow-ups, documentation, and presentations. Assist with order administration, quoting support, data entry, reports, and other administrative requirements. Coordinate information between sales, estimating, warehouse, and management. Assist with showroom events, product launches, training sessions, and client presentations. Ensure every client interaction reflects the professionalism and quality of the AGL Surfaces brand. What We're Looking For Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Professional and confident communication skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. An eye for design, colour, materials, and presentation. Comfortable working in a high-end showroom environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning CRM and other business systems. Genuine interest in architecture, interior design, construction, materials, or architectural surfaces. Experience That Would Be an Asset Interior design or architectural experience. Experience with sintered stone, natural stone, glass, tile, countertops, cabinetry, flooring, or architectural materials. Experience working in a design or architectural showroom. Experience working with designers, architects, builders, contractors, or fabricators. Knowledge of design software, CAD, or architectural drawings. CRM, quoting, order processing, or project coordination experience. The Right Person We're looking for someone who is organized, polished, personable, curious, and takes ownership.
