About this Opportunity: On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Event Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial marketing events across North America. This role serves as the central point of coordination for executive briefings, customer events, industry conferences, roadshows, webinars, and account-based marketing programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, including timelines, budgets, vendor coordination, stakeholder communications, registration management, attendee engagement, and post-event reporting. The role requires close collaboration with marketing and sales teams to drive customer participation, maximize target account engagement, and ensure successful event outcomes aligned with business objectives. What You'll Do: Develop and maintain detailed event project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables Serve as the primary coordination point for commercial marketing events and programs Partner closely with marketing strategists to align event objectives, target audiences, messaging, and business goals Collaborate with sales teams to drive customer attendance, track invitations, registrations, attendance targets, and follow-up activities Manage event budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and operational processes Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, venues, and service providers to ensure seamless event execution Oversee event logistics, attendee communications, registration management, and onsite execution activities Monitor project progress, identify risks, escalate issues, and proactively remove blockers Track event performance metrics, including registrations, attendance, customer engagement, and overall program effectiveness Maintain project documentation, action logs, status reports, and post-event summaries Consolidate attendee data and generate stakeholder reporting and insights Upload and manage event-generated leads within internal lead management systems, ensuring timely routing and reporting Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding project status, timelines, risks, and required actions Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance event delivery processes and operational efficiency. What You Bring: Proven experience managing corporate events, marketing programs, or customer engagement initiatives Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination Experience managing event budgets, purchase orders, and vendor relationships Strong understanding of event logistics, registration platforms, attendee communications, and event operations Experience partnering with sales organizations to drive customer participation and event outcomes Ability to track and analyze event performance metrics and engagement data Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively manage priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines Nice to Have: Experience supporting B2B marketing events, executive briefings, or account-based marketing programs Experience with event management platforms and CRM/lead management systems Experience working in large enterprise environments Knowledge of marketing performance reporting and customer engagement measurement Professional project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is considered an asset Experience supporting North American event programs How to Apply: Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resumes through the Akkodis Canada website.
