Job Description: Reporting to the Chair, Information and Communications Technology – SSN, the Student Program Assistant provides support to students in various subjects. Role and Responsibilities: Supports students as required (could include) one on one or group support in programs within the Faculty of ICT-SSN; Provide workshops to students to enhance their learning; Supports Faculty in troubleshoot issues and applied learning; Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Minimum two (2) Year Diploma or equivalent in Computer Systems Technician, Computer Programming, or related IT field; Students in their final level of study may be considered. Bilingualism – English and French (spoken and written) (level C) preferred. Minimum two (2) years experience in various ICT fields. Strong interpersonal skills; Collaborative; Demonstration of ability to support or impart knowledge of the material to support students. Please note these positions are dedicated to the Algonquin College CyberCom training program.
