A career at InnVest will provide you with unrivaled opportunities and invaluable exposure to Canada’s largest independently-owned and operated hotel portfolio RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests using the hotel’s pool and water slide facilities. * Monitor swimmer and rider activity, consistently enforcing all safety rules and guidelines. * Conduct routine water-chemical testing and maintain accurate records as required. * Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming pool and slide environment throughout each shift. * Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary. * Assist guests with questions and promote a friendly, service-focused atmosphere. * Oversee the safe and efficient operation of the water slide, including managing rider flow. * Identify and report safety concerns, equipment issues, or incidents to the appropriate leaders. * Complete daily checklists, documentation, and opening/closing procedures with accuracy. REQUIREMENTS * Valid Lifeguard Certification (National Lifeguard – Pool) and current CPR-C/Standard First Aid. * Strong swimming ability and proven rescue capability. * Ability to remain attentive, calm, and focused in a fast-paced environment. * Exceptional communication and guest-service skills. * Physically able to perform rescues and handle pool-related equipment. * Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team. * Previous lifeguard or pool-attendant experience is considered an asset. * Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
