Chemistry Masters — AI Data Trainer About The Role We're looking for chemistry experts to help train and evaluate some of the most advanced AI systems in the world. Your deep scientific knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex chemistry problems — from undergraduate fundamentals to graduate-level research. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI experience required. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design challenging chemistry problems across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and physical chemistry to rigorously test AI performance Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with rigorous logic and scientific accuracy Evaluate AI-generated outputs for correctness, depth of reasoning, and quality Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry Provide structured, written feedback that directly improves AI model training Who You Are Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field Strong problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing Detail-oriented with a rigorous approach to accuracy and logic Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously No prior AI experience required Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research benchmarking Familiarity with large language models or AI tools Background spanning multiple chemistry subdisciplines Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects with world-leading research labs Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule, from anywhere Freelance perks: high autonomy, variety of projects, and global collaboration Make a meaningful impact on how AI reasons through science Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
