Chemistry Masters – AI Data Trainer About The Role We're looking for chemistry experts to help train and evaluate the next generation of AI models. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs — and we need people with deep scientific knowledge to ensure these models reason accurately about chemistry. If you have a Master's-level background in chemistry or a related field, this is a rare opportunity to directly shape how AI understands complex scientific concepts — no prior AI experience required. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design advanced chemistry problems spanning topics like chemical engineering, biochemistry, and physical chemistry to rigorously test AI performance Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise, well-reasoned logic Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy and quality of reasoning Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Master's-level chemistry topics Provide structured, high-quality written feedback to improve model outputs Who You Are Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains Able to communicate complex scientific ideas clearly and precisely in writing Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and rigorous reasoning Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously No prior AI or data annotation experience required Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems Familiarity with large language models or AI research workflows Background spanning multiple chemistry disciplines (e.g., organic, inorganic, computational) Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects with top-tier research labs and institutions Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule, from anywhere Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and the ability to work across global projects Directly contribute to AI that gets chemistry right — your expertise makes a measurable difference Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
