Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to client inquiries, preparing quotes, processing policy changes, renewals, and new business, and liaising with insurance carriers to negotiate terms and resolve issues. The Account Executive maintains accurate client records, ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies, and follows up proactively to support client retention and growth. This role also involves identifying cross-selling opportunities, participating in business development activities, and contributing to a collaborative, client-focused team environment. Qualifications Strong client service and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and provide personalized insurance advice. Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with insurance broker management systems and common office software (e.g., CRM tools, Microsoft Office) and comfort working in a hybrid setting. Knowledge of property, casualty, life, and health insurance products, and understanding of underwriting principles, risk assessment, and policy wording. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, quoting, policy processing, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Relevant provincial insurance licensing (e.g., RIBO or equivalent) or eligibility to obtain licensing within a defined timeframe.
