Job Description: The Electro-Mechanical Drafter Creates and updates electrical drawings and schematics, prepares detailed working diagrams of Electrical equipment and installations, including dimensions, BOM, and other engineering information. The Electro-Mechanical Drafter works closely with both Electrical and Mechanical Engineers/Designers to accuracy of drawing packages. Job Responsibilities: * Oversee AutoCAD Electrical drawing standards, symbol libraries, and parts catalogues. * Under direction of Electrical Engineers and Designers, create and update electrical drawings, schematics and reports. * Prepare detailed electrical drawings for manufacturing and installation. * In SolidWorks, under direction of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers/Designers, develop and update Electro-Mechanical Layouts. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: * Proficient in AutoCAD and AutoCAD ELECTRICAL * Knowledge of SolidWorks, experience would be an asset. * Experience reading and interpreting Electrical Schematics and GA’s. * Familiarity of Canadian Electrical Code would be an asset. * Familiarity with drafting standards and symbols. * Ability to read and interpret technical documents. * Proficient with Microsoft Office. * Demonstrate knowledge and an understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. * Understand how this position impacts the quality of products and services our customers provide. * Produce quality work (on-spec., on time, on a budget). * Participate pro-actively in the continuous improvement process. * Be self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task. * Work well within a team environment. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. * Maintain a professional, clean and safe work area. The Electro-Mechanical Drafter creates and updates electrical drawings, schematics, and detailed working diagrams for equipment and installations. They collaborate closely with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure the accuracy of drawing packages and maintain AutoCAD standards.

Candidates must be proficient in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical with experience in reading electrical schematics and technical documents. Familiarity with SolidWorks, drafting standards, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act is highly preferred.
