Supervisor (Catering - Banquet Department)

Bingemans is in the business of providing Grand Experiences! We are currently hiring part-time Banquet Supervisor. What will you be doing? * Communicate with clients regarding contract and any changes and ensure the successful execution of events * Organize and supervise staff, event set ups, service and bar * Direct staff in the cleaning of food and beverage equipment as well as facilities, including dishwashing area and staff * Communicate and delegate to meet and exceed guest expectation for an event * Able to speak with clients in a friendly and professional manner * Perform other duties assigned What we're looking for? * Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer experience * Demonstrated leadership experience (Must have the ability to lead larger teams and all types of function of 400 people or more on and off property, independently without the need of management assistance) * Related industry experience(hospitality, banquet services, catering and convention services) * Must be a quick learner and have the ability to think on your feet and resolve any changes to set ups, time lines and add-ons * Able to work with minimal supervision at times * Flexible to work days, evenings and weekend shifts * Smart Serve Certified * Valid Driver's license and clean Driver's abstract * Standard First Aid- CPR level C and AED (or willing to get certified) This position is for an open vacancy currently available within our organization. The Banquet Supervisor will manage event execution by coordinating with clients and directing staff in setup, service, and facility maintenance. They are responsible for ensuring high-quality guest experiences and resolving operational issues during events.

Candidates must have demonstrated leadership experience in hospitality or catering and the ability to manage large-scale functions independently. Essential certifications include Smart Serve, First Aid, CPR, and a valid driver's license.
