Technician, Level 3 & Up Reporting Relationship: This position reports directly to the Service Manager. Job Summary The Automotive Technician plays an integral role in Birchwood achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction after the purchase of a vehicle. The successful candidate is will have the ability to maintain current product and technical knowledge, to estimate time of service and repair needed, and to diagnose and complete the required work right the first time. Using industry-leading technology, the Automotive Technician will diagnose repairs required on a wide range of vehicles. This position is heavily supported by manufacturer training. Technicians are compensated full wages for training completed outside of the dealership. The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing and completing repairs on a wide range of vehicles to ensure high customer satisfaction. This includes estimating service time and leveraging industry-leading technology to perform work correctly the first time.

Candidates must be a Level 3 apprentice or higher with a valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving abstract. Strong skills in electronic diagnostics and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are required.
