What You'll Do: Design, develop, and enhance system-level software including compilers, command-line utilities, runtime libraries, and developer tooling. This involves a combination of in-house tools and the GNU or LLVM toolchains. Build innovative solutions that enable customers to deliver high-performance, reliable, and secure embedded applications. Investigate and solve complex technical problems across the software stack, from low-level system components to developer-facing tools. Collaborate with experienced engineers to define product requirements, architecture, and long-term technical strategy. Participate in design and code reviews, contributing to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Continuously expand your expertise in compiler technologies, operating systems, embedded development, and software engineering best practices. What You Bring: Strong software development experience in C and/or C++. Understanding of embedded software development concepts and real-time operating systems (RTOS). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle challenging technical issues. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a passion for technical discussions and architecture design. Curiosity, creativity, and a desire to build technology that other developers rely on every day. Nice to Have: Experience developing, maintaining, or optimizing compilers, toolchains, or language runtimes. Interest in programming language implementation, code generation, optimization, or compiler internals. Experience with Linux and/or Windows-based development environments. Background in systems programming, including operating systems, debuggers, profilers, interpreters, linkers, or performance analysis tools. The actual compensation offered will be determined at the time of hire and is contingent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and results of assessments conducted during the hiring process.
