As a Kitchen Assistant, you will prepare nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the children in our care. When you are not preparing food, serving meals, or cleaning, you will work in the classrooms to assist our teachers. Responsibilities include: • Organizing orders for food as needed. • Serving meals from a catered service provided daily. • Ensuring safety and sanitization in the kitchen environment as per Public Health requirements. • Understanding dietary restrictions in centre for individual children. • Washing dishes after meals. • Other duties as assigned. The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Additionally, they will assist teachers in the classrooms when not performing kitchen-related duties.

Candidates should have experience cooking for large groups and possess effective time management skills. A Food Handling Certification and current Standard First Aid and Infant Child CPR are preferred.
